Since it's less stylsed than Wind Waker it needs a bit more than a resolution bomb to bring out it's art direction. Outside of that, I am struggling to see many improvements. So far the obvious ones are a lot of high res textures, and a bump in rendering resolution that I am thinking is 1080p. Remember trying to tax the game by going into Hyrule field with a flock of the flying enemies every where, using explosive arrows and rotating the camera around. Alright fellas, this isnt a thread to voice your opinion on if you think it looks great or awful, but to take a look at the upgrades made to the game. Very fast load times for a game of that scale. Hyrule Field can be traversed from edge to edge with no load times. Massive draw distances with minimal pop in. It had some really neat "Global" lighting tricks, with shifting shadows casting from the land masses. ![]() The issue is just that it was doing things that people don't know how to apreciate: Hi, Im planning to replay through Twilight princess, but I no longer have my wii and therefore Im using an emulator (dolphin) to play it.
